"article": "“Remember…none of these things you’ll hear about could possibly happen…to YOU!”\nThis Australian version of the WOR-Mutual anthology series The Mysterious Traveler aired for\none season in the mid-‘50s. It used the original Robert Arthur-David Kogan scripts and some of\nthe standard introductory remarks, but (inexplicably) omitted the entire atmospheric train\nopening and the character of the Traveler himself. Compere Tony Roberts exhorted listeners to\nfollow him “on a personally-conducted tour into the world of the strange, the mysterious, the\nuncanny, and the unknown.” Later he was succeeded in the emcee spotlight by Moray Powell, who\nhad previously endeared himself to Australian horror lovers by playing Raymond, the host of\nInner Sanctum Mysteries, on Sydney station 2GB in 1952 and ’53.",
